Offshoring Stem Cell Research

Bush and the Religious Rightists policy to put a noose around the neck of our research institutions has had and will continue to have enormous repercussions.

1. Huge loss of intellectual infusion:

We loose the best and the brightest: Because of the shrubs general kick in the face to the rest of the world, colleges and universities all over the world are experiencing a huge increase in top scholar applications. Prior to shitting on our friends and allies, the United States was a huge magnet for the best and brightest students from all over the world. With an administration clearly bent against science and even trying to have creationism taught in our science classes, as well as an administration so out of touch with the higher concerns of global stuardship, a great many of the brightest young students are applying in droves to universities in Europe and elsewhere - but not in the US.

2. goodbye Stem Cell Research!

Our Incompetent C+ Jackass has driven offshore what may well prove to be the next dot com boom. Make no mistake, the dot com boom may have had a dip but it has been and continues to be a huge boon to our country. Stem Cell research requires relatively unfettered scientific exploration - it has moved to Europe and elsewhere - the hot stuff is already offshore - Gone - SeeYa!

Steroids - Absolutely!

Good God folks - as much as we wish to kid ourselves - consider this:

20 years ago there were about 5 guys over 300 pounds in the NFL - thats the National Football League.

Today there are well over 250 players that are over 300 pounds - This was not because of McDonalds!

Lets all cover our bodies the way the terrorist do! What Fun!

This just a note of hope - with the proposed new fines for the TV Dress Code - from some 37,000 to 500,000
maybe we can finally cover up all that skin that has driven so many of us to rape and pillage.

While we're at it - shouldn't we get those lewd women to cover up their faces as well?

The cool thing about this is we can get rid of our freedoms without actually passing a law that seems like its against our freedoms.

Another idea: lets donate the fines to a special Religious Morals Squad!
