Bush has got to find a way to raise taxes without rasing taxes.

The Bush Nazi team that is out en-mass desperately trying to come up with fix-its for the fiscal mess it has created, cannot go back, cannot stop, cannot come up for air - or they will have to go back on the Huge Tax Cut for those making more than $230,000.00 per year. (notice: I did not say the upper 2% Why? because it means nothing - we need to use words that mean something.)

If they can get the Social Security change, it will confuse and diffuse the fiscal mess they have createdand and allow them to blame it on a "larger overall adjustment that was needed for a long time." It will be another opportunity to rape the public at levels not seen in a century.

If they cannot get that - and they may not - they are pressuring a change in the tax code - perhaps a consumption tax. It will and always has been a great way to raise the relative burden on the lower income groups. You pay as you buy, and the lower incomes save much less.


Anyway - did you know that if you don't like the Social Security Reforms you are pro-gay?
If you admire the job the American Civil Liberties Union is doing then you are a Communist?
If you don't like the idea of huge fines agaist the horrible morals of all those immoral bastards in Hollywood, you are a godless immoral freak with no boundaries?

$500,000 personal fines for a breast shot and only $10,000 a day for corporate pollution violations that kill people?

When asked what they think about the proposed increase fines for obscenity -
including personal fines of up to $500,000.00 they can respond like this:

"On the surface this may seem to be some sort of reasonable Republican answer, but we have to ask ourselves if this is the message we want to send to our children, that a company - not an individual, that is violating our often extremely reasonable pollution laws or safety laws frequently have fines that max at only $10,000.00?
Do we want to become extreme thought police - do the Republicans really want to go in this Communist direction? It's so similiar to the Religious Extremism that we should be fighting. Knowone ever died from seeing a breast, but hundreds of thousands of Americans are effected everyday by illegal pollution and yet the fines for these corporate violations are a fraction of what the proposed new fines would be for individuals that might say or do something that is questionable."
