Even if you took out the cold war expenses from the Regan years or the Iraq War from Bush Jr., either Bush Jr. or Regan by themselves are light years ahead of the spending of ALL Democrats Combined throughout our history!
  
• John McCain has been wearing his hero status on his arm long enough. After having been shot down and surviving a POW camp, he came home from war, began an affair with an extremely wealthy and much younger woman. He divorced his wife for the younger wealthy woman and took advantage of her fathers great wealth and political connections. He was in lock step with Bush on almost everything and is about as much a maverick as a crooked line.
• We are a debtor nation thanks to Bush Jr. and his ALL Republican Congress and Senate, our interest payments are now larger than the budgets for Homeland Security, Health Care and Education Combined! No one spends our money like the Republicans!
  
• Republicans subsidize Big Oil and the "Oil War" as John McCain so aptly characterized the current war in Iraq - Democrats will stop the flow of our money into the hands of Russia and the Middle East by a huge alternate energy plan that will create millions of jobs and heal our massive debt load.
