All Agenda - no leadership

Whats up in the agenda department

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting recieved a new Chief Executive - former republican party leader Patricia Harrison.
In case you don't know, they are the non-profit group that supplies federal funding to our public radio and television stations.

Gotta love the completeness of it all! A fox in every hen house!

US overseas investments nearly doubled in 2004 over 2003 - The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development reported vigorous purchasing of foriegn assets by the United States.

I guess the tax cuts and massive spending pretty much helped the rest of the world - not the kind of peace of mind you usually get from spending your future though.

On another note, Del Monte has prudently decided that because of increasing expenses - noteably steel, gas and logistical expenses - they will be cutting operational costs by $100 million over the next three years. Profit for the fourth quarter was one third that of the same quarter a year earlier.

Everything is clearly pointing to a recovering economy and thank god housing prices can continue to rise forever and ever amen - an amazing feat during a time of years of decreasing income and savings.

The administration is happy about a great many things - one of them is the election of Fundamental Extremists leaders in Iran. Dick Cheney and Ashcroft are happy because they believe the new admin will collapse from its oppressive leadership style and not foster better relations with the US and Europe, but rather insite unrest from both - they view this as a good thing - these feckless fetid freaks!
